In light of an extraordinary 2020, what’s next...?

As we enter November and reflect on an extraordinary year that has been 2020 and the unprecedented circumstances that Covid-19 has brought for all of us, what are your projections for 2021?

How has 2020 shaped the business world to come and where will future policy focus for government and organisations be targeted: recovery; stabilisation; investment; growth?

More specifically, as restrictions ease and businesses begin / start to consider their budgeting and business planning cycles for FY22, again, how will 2020 change thinking about our corporate strategies and approaches? Not least of these will be the impending, and sizeable, challenge of return-to-work logistics but also considerations of:

  • Reappraising how to maximise the strategic value of our assets - our infrastructure, our people, our intellectual property

  • Reviewing how to further optimise operations to remain efficient and competitive

  • Redefinition of operating models with the prospect of, for many, a very changed business environment

  • What new growth opportunities are available in a marketplace now significantly opened up by an enforced remote working model?
